The core of this event was to explore the fascinating connection between music and visual art. To begin, I introduced some masterpieces in art history that embodied the idea of synesthesia, sparking the audience’s curiosity with one thought-provoking question: “Can sound have a shape?” This question opened the door to a lively exploration of imagination.
As the session continued, participants engaged in both learning theoretical insights and practicing music-inspired painting. Guided step by step, both adults and children translated sounds into vivid visual forms, using brushes to express their personal understanding of music.
When melodies intertwined with brushstrokes, each artwork revealed a unique interpretation of sound. It was not only an experience of artistic creation but also a wonderful dialogue between the senses and the soul.
